Intro: Join us on a rigorous, step-by-step journey to fluency. I’m Timothy and this is LearnCraft Spanish.

Let’s use a big quiz to practice the verbs Parecer, Salir, and Llamar, as well as our new numbers and everything else we’ve learned this week.

I never go out before seven.

Nunca salgo antes de las siete.

Call her before the weekend!

¡Llámala antes del fin de semana!

I went out before eight; in fact, it was at four.

Ten minus two equals eight.

Diez menos dos es igual a ocho.

The treatment was worse than the wait, so I won’t call them again.

It’s a fact that she always calls you before eight.

It seemed like she was nine years old and her name was María.

I don’t want them to go out because it looked to me like a bad idea.

She went out before five.

Salió antes de las cinco.

If you want to go out, you have to have control.

Si quieres salir, tienes que tener control.

(Formal) Go out before six!

¡Salga antes de las seis!

In fact, nine plus one equals ten.

Even if she goes out, it won’t be a big occurrence.

Aunque salga, no será un gran hecho.

(Plural) Get out or it might look like you don’t want to call.

It had seemed like a deal.

Había parecido un trato.

She wants me to go out with them because she says they seem like good people.

Maybe we’ll go out if they call me before two.

Let’s go out! It’s only ten and it seems like a good time to do it.

¡Salgamos!

Nine minus six equals three.

Nueve menos seis es igual a tres.

If you go out now, you can go with her because she is in waiting.

Get out at five! It’s almost the weekend.

¡Sal a las cinco! Casi es el fin de semana.

If you don’t call her before ten, she’ll go out with someone else.

He didn’t call because he had already gone out.

No llamó porque ya había salido.

We didn’t go out at nine, we went out at seven.

No salimos a las nueve, salimos a las siete.

They always go out partying on the weekend.

Eight plus one equals nine, but minus four is four.

She never leaves at night because she is only ten years old.

We’re going out now and we’ll knock on the door.

Estamos saliendo ahora y llamaremos a la puerta.

I never call you because we never go out.

Nunca te llamo porque nunca salimos.
